Earlier this month we had the pleasure to host the ākonga from Broadwood Area School here at the park.
Their visit included a number of employment pathway conversations, with guest speakers offering up their time and knowledge from The NZ Armed Forces, Kaikohe Police and the Department of Corrections.
The day was completed with an immersive tour of the NorthTec - Te Pūkenga buildings, with information on the breadth of courses and learning opportunities shared.
A fun day and opportunity to share information, delicious kai and importantly the possibilities for our future generations.
